Terms for academies and their members.

Who operates Dendrition
Dendrition is a branded service operated by North Construct LLC. These terms apply to academy owners, instructors, staff, and gym members who use the service in the United States. An academy customer also signs a business order form with North Construct LLC. That signed order form controls the academy's commercial terms if it conflicts with this page, including negotiated warranty, indemnity, liability, governing-law, venue, and termination terms.
Accounts and eligibility
Each person must use an individual account, provide accurate information, protect their sign-in details, and promptly tell the academy or North Construct about suspected unauthorized access. Accounts may not be shared, transferred, or used to impersonate another person. You must be at least 13 to request or maintain a Dendrition account. Dendrition does not knowingly accept accounts for children under 13 at this time. Academies must not create an account for a child under 13 or direct a child under 13 to submit personal information. If we identify an under-13 account or direct child submission, we will promptly disable it and delete the information unless applicable law requires retention. An authorized adult may upload academy content depicting a child only with all legally required rights, notices, and participant, parent, or guardian permission.
The academy service
Dendrition gives an academy one private place to organize shared BJJ curriculum and provide its active gym members with individual access to the full published academy library. The academy controls its instructors, programs, lessons, and active-member roster. Student dues and academy membership decisions remain outside Dendrition.
Pilot, subscription, taxes, and cancellation
The initial US pilot offer is a card-free trial that defaults to 30 days, with the exact dates recorded for each academy. Continued service is billed monthly at the price recorded in the academy's signed order form, plus applicable taxes, after the academy owner deliberately completes subscription checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and North Construct does not automatically issue prorated refunds except when required by law or agreed in writing. A failed payment receives a seven-day recovery window before service may be suspended.
Academy content
The academy and its instructors retain ownership of the programs, lessons, videos, descriptions, trademarks, and student communications they provide. They grant North Construct LLC the limited, nonexclusive permission needed to host, process, secure, copy as operationally necessary, and deliver that content through Dendrition. The academy represents that it has the rights and permissions needed for everything it uploads and publishes. North Construct may restrict or remove content that is unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or inconsistent with these terms, and the academy should contact North Construct promptly about a rights complaint.
Gym member access
An academy decides which active gym members may use its library. Members join through the academy's current invitation path, sign in with their own identity, and contact the academy when access needs to change. The academy is responsible for obtaining legally required participant, parent, or guardian consent before adding a minor or publishing media that identifies a minor. Dendrition does not promise that a person will remain an academy member or retain access after the academy changes its roster.
Acceptable use
Users may not share accounts, scrape or bulk-extract private content, copy private lessons for redistribution, upload content they do not have permission to use, expose another person's personal information, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access or playback controls, reverse engineer protected delivery, or use Dendrition for harmful, illegal, or abusive activity.
Security, confidentiality, and availability
North Construct uses reasonable safeguards and treats private academy content and nonpublic business information as confidential. Users must protect their sign-in details and promptly report suspected misuse. Maintenance, provider failures, internet conditions, security events, and product changes can interrupt service, so uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Suspension and ending service
An academy may end a member's library access when gym membership changes. North Construct may suspend or end access for nonpayment after the recovery window, security risk, unlawful use, material breach, or account closure. When service ends, access to the academy library may end and academy data is handled under the Privacy Policy and the signed order form. The signed order form states the academy's effective date, trial end, notice contacts, and any negotiated termination terms.
Warranty and liability boundaries
Dendrition is a curriculum and video-library service, not medical, legal, financial, or professional martial-arts advice. Training carries inherent risk, and each academy remains responsible for instruction and participant safety. To the extent allowed by law, the signed order form contains the business warranty, indemnity, liability, and governing-law terms for the academy relationship.
Governing law and disputes
The signed order form controls the academy customer's governing law, venue, and negotiated dispute terms. For other use of Dendrition, Washington law applies to the extent allowed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes and notices
North Construct may update these public terms as Dendrition, its providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date on this page and use appropriate notice for material changes affecting an active academy customer. Material commercial changes for an academy customer will be handled through its signed order form or written notice rather than silently changing an agreed pilot price.
